Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data and processes, perform root cause analysis, and generate reports to support claims and encounter data.

You will write SQL queries, work in a data warehouse, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to system enhancements. A Bachelor’s degree and healthcare data experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience including complex SQL.
• Experience in a data warehouse environment with large data sets from multiple data sources.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to various audiences.
• Strong collaboration across teams within healthcare domains.
• Experience with Claims/Encounters in the Healthcare Industry.

Responsibilities

• Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports for data analysis and trend detection.
• Identify and implement system enhancements to support strategic goals.
• Develop and execute test scripts; report outcomes or defects.
• Write and modify queries, interpret results, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to drive results.
