Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data, perform root cause analysis, and create reports to support operational needs. The role focuses on processing and interpreting varied claims and encounter data.

You will develop SQL queries, participate in system enhancements, and collaborate across teams to ensure data-driven decision making and quality outcomes for patients and communities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of programming or analytical experience, including SQL development.
• Experience with data warehouses and large data sets from multiple sources.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills within and across teams.
• Healthcare/Claims-Encounters experience.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries, procedures and reports for data trend analysis and anomaly detection.
• Define and implement system enhancements to support business goals.
• Develop and prioritize system updates; execute test scripts and report outcomes.
• Interpret results, perform root cause analysis and deliver short- and long-term solutions.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and drive results.
• Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
