Health IT NEWS.Direct! is seeking an Encoder/Baggage Jammer Technician to deliver luggage and clear jams in the airport BHS. Responsibilities include scanning bags, pushing tubs, and straightening bags on the conveyor to maintain smooth operation.

May also be responsible for scanning bags in the manual encode station, pushing stacks of tubs, and straightening bags on the conveyor as necessary.

May also be responsible for scanning bags in the manual encode station, pushing stacks of tubs, and straightening bags on the conveyor as necessary.

Basic Duties Include (but Not Limited)

• Delivering luggage to multiple locations across the BHS as necessary
• Clearing baggage jams and ensuring proper placement of baggage on BHS system to ensure proper function
• Communicating baggage jam corrections and luggage assignment updates timely
• Properly scanning baggage as necessary
• Proper use of manual code station
• Working as a team to ensure success of entire BHS

Hours & Compensation
