Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Assembler to assemble or fabricate mechanical parts using various tools according to required specifications. This role involves performing repetitive tasks at workstations or on assembly lines to mass-produce high-quality enclosures.

Assemblers will also be cross-trained as Machine Operators for flexibility with production needs. 1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm with OT as needed on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings and other technical documents.
• Proficient in reading measurement devices and interpreting results.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, and other technical documents to accurately assemble products.
• Use handheld tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns to assemble components.
• Maintain inventory levels at the workstation to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
• Identify any product defects and report these to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Rework or repair assembled products as per engineering specifications or customer requests.
• Adhere to all quality standards and safety procedures during assembly processes.
• Complete daily tasks as assigned by the functional area and Supervisor.
