Job summary

Studio City Apartments LLC in the United States is seeking an Apartment Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, the leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings. You will assist in preparing market‑ready units by cleaning vacant apartments and supporting the maintenance team with various tasks.

This role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, standing for long periods, and a high level of dexterity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Prior experience as an apartment porter or groundskeeper is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
• Dexterity and attention to detail are important.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash daily from office areas and perimeter of the apartment community.
• Assist in making market ready units by removing trash from vacant apartments before make-ready.
• Assist the Director of Facility Management and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks promptly.
• Assist in cleaning available apartments and models.
• Assist maintenance with snow removal where applicable.
• Troubleshoot/repair groundskeeping equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns to the Director of Facility Management.

Job Description

Apartment Porter/Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments. Additionally, the apartment porter/groundskeeper is responsible for assisting apartment maintenance with apartment clean-outs. This role may include, but is not limited to:

• upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
• Assist Director of Facility Management/Maintenance Supervisor and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models.
• Assist maintenance team with snow removal (If applicable).
• Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of groundskeeping equipment.
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Director of Facility Management

• 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
• Overtime as required
