Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking an Encapsulation Operator to operate encapsulation equipment and ensure production meets quality standards for soft gelatin capsules. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1 year encapsulation experience preferred. Candidate must read and follow written instructions in English, perform routine data entry, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Fluent English to read instructions and maintain records.
• Accurate arithmetic for shell/fill weights.
• Manual dexterity to disassemble/assemble equipment with hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates encapsulation equipment to produce soft gelatin capsules meeting quality standards.
• Monitors process: ribbon thickness, temperature, weight/size of product.
• Troubleshoots equipment/process issues and resolves quickly.
• Performs changeovers and cleans/disassembles/reassembles equipment for next batch.
• Stacks capsules on trays, maintains stack cards accurately.
• Moves containers within department as needed.
• Maintains logs and enters data via computer.
• Follows safety, SOPs and GMPs.
