Job summary

Armada is seeking an Encaps Machine Operator in Spring Hill, TN to transform blends into capsule form following written instructions and in compliance with cGMP/SOPs. You will monitor equipment, verify product quality, and document parameters accurately.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 year on a production line, basic math, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. This role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of all encapsulation processes and equipment, including cleanliness, setup, and product verification.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure proper production.
• Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble equipment.
• Follow cGMP guidelines and SOPs.
• Monitor product levels and notify lead of discrepancies.
• Ensure product meets Armada high quality standards.
• Package product according to customer specifications.
• Accurately record materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap, and excess on specified documents
• Verifies documentation is completed accurately, timely, and properly filed
• Must be able to understand, verify, and convert gram and kilo scales

Job Overview

The Encaps Machine Operator is responsible to accurately process blend into a capsule form according to written instruction and in compliance with cGMPs and SOPs.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment related to the encapsulation process, including: room and equipment cleanliness, machinery setup, product verification (before, during, and after product run)
• Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment to ensure proper production of product;
• Able to disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble equipment;
• Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
• Monitor product levels and notify lead of discrepancies;
• Ensure product meets Armada high quality standards;
• Package product according to customer specifications;
• Accurate and timely recording of materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap, and excess on specified documents

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a packaging area with a moderate powder substance in the air with or without a respirator;
• Must be able to wear any required PPE such as scrubs, hair net, lab coat, and facemask;
• Ability to stand for an extended periods of time;
• Ability to work in humid/high temperature rooms
• Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas;
• Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; Ability to work above shoulders;
• Other physical requirements include frequent squatting, bending, twisting, and bi-lateral wrist movement;
