Job summary

Rhodar Limited is seeking an Enabling Works Estimator to join our Remediation division in the Midlands or Leeds area. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for enabling works, support tender submissions, and collaborate with project teams to ensure projects remain within budget and profitable.

The role requires reading technical drawings, take-offs, and strong knowledge of construction methods. NEC/JCT familiarity and estimating software skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction/engineering.
• Familiarity with NEC/JCT contracts and tender portals.
• Able to read technical drawings and perform take-offs.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for enabling works projects (excavation, groundworks, civil works, restoration).
• Develop bid proposals with the team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct site assessments to gather data for estimates and identify risks.
• Collaborate with procurement to obtain quotes and ensure value for money.
• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders on cost estimates and revisions.
• Ensure estimations comply with environmental and safety standards.
