Job summary

HM Global is seeking a cost estimator to prepare quotations for UK residential renovation, refurbishments, and property maintenance. You will calculate quantities from drawings and photos, and develop detailed cost breakdowns of labour, materials, and other expenses. The role requires 3 years of estimation experience, a B.Tech in Civil Engineering, and strong Excel skills.

Freshers with foundational knowledge may apply. Remote work option with UK working hours is available.

Qualifications

• Must have B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in construction estimation or related roles.
• Freshers with strong understanding and good Excel skills may apply.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Must have reliable internet and be available during UK working hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for UK residential renovation, refurbishments and property maintenance projects.
• Calculate quantities for building works using drawings, photographs and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns covering labour, materials, consumables and other project expenses.
• Research material prices from UK based suppliers.
• Maintain estimation records, quotations and project schedules.
• Coordinate with the internal team to clarify requirements and complete estimates within agreed deadlines.
