Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking an experienced Production Operations Leader for the EMV manufacturing department. You will oversee daily EMV production, ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control while developing a high-performing operations team.

Lead Lean initiatives, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience.
• Strong analytical skills and statistical reasoning.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and GMP principles.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily EMV production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and rapid issue resolution.
• Implement Lean manufacturing, standard work, and process optimization initiatives.
• Manage departmental budget and provide monthly performance insights.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staff.
