Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking an Emulation Applications Consultant to support the Americas sales team by driving technical engagement, deploying Veloce Strato solutions, and guiding customers through evaluations.

You will partner with customers and internal teams to deliver demonstrations, map Siemens EDA capabilities to customer design flows, and travel up to 10% across North America. A BS/MS in EE/CE/CS and 3+ years of design/verification is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in design, verification, simulation, emulation/prototyping of electronics chips and systems.
• BS or MS in EE, CE, CS or related areas.
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL, RTL, behavioral coding and ASIC debug.
• C, C++ and SystemC used with chip design/verification.
• Experience with emulation solutions (Veloce/Palladium/ZeBu) and simulators (Questa/Incisive/VCS/OVM/UVM).
• Knowledge of TLM and automation/scripting (Python, Perl, sed, awk, tcl/tk, sh).
• Strong understanding of customer design flows and mapping Siemens EDA solutions to workflows.
• Proficiency with EDA tools and environments; ability to extend/integrate tools via scripting/APIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive business with hands-on technical expertise; work directly with customers during product evaluations.
• Deploy Siemens Emulation (Veloce Strato) solutions for customers.
• Promote technical customer service to build and improve relationships for long-term satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales, accounts, and customers to identify opportunities and requirements.
• Troubleshoot obstacles; develop and deliver technical presentations on new features and updates.
• Provide feedback to Emulation product teams to improve overall product.
• Communicate customer requirements to product marketing; build technical relationships.
