Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking an Emulation Applications Consultant to drive customer engagements and support the Americas sales team. You will deploy emulation solutions (Veloce Strato) and conduct technical presentations to advance product evaluations.

The role requires hands-on design/verification experience, strong scripting skills, and the ability to map Siemens EDA solutions to customer workflows. Travel across North America is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in design, verification, simulation, emulation/prototyping of electronics chips and systems or as Applications Engineer.
• BS or MS in EE, CE, CS or related areas.
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL language, RTL, behavioral coding and ASIC debug.
• C, C++ and SystemC used with chip design and verification.
• Experience with emulation solutions (Veloce/Palladium/ZeBu) and simulators (Questa, Incisive, VCS, OVM/UVM).
• Knowledge of Transaction Level Modeling (TLM) helpful.
• Automation/scripting (Python, Perl, sed, awk, tcl/tk, sh).

Responsibilities

• Drive business for Siemens using hands-on technical expertise with customers during product evaluations.
• Deploy Siemens Emulation (Veloce Strato) solutions for customers.
• Promote technical customer service to build long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with area sales, account teams and customers to identify opportunities.
• Troubleshoot obstacles and deliver technical presentations on new features.
• Provide feedback to Emulation product teams to improve the product.
• Communicate customer requirements to product marketing.
• Develop a network of technical relationships with customers.
• Willing to travel across North America (10%).
