Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking an Emulation Applications Consultant to support the Americas sales team. You will drive business using hands-on expertise, deploy Emulation (Veloce Strato) solutions, and deliver technical demos to customers as part of evaluations.

Travel up to 10% across North America will be required. Requirements include 3+ years in design/verification/emulation, a BS/MS in EE/CE/CS, and experience with Veloce, Palladium, ZeBu, and simulators such as Questa, Incisive, or VCS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in design, verification, emulation/prototyping of electronics chips and systems or as Applications Engineer in a related field.
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL and RTL concepts for ASICs.
• Experience with emulation solutions (Veloce/Palladium/ZeBu) and simulators (Questa/Incisive/VCS).
• Scripting (Python, Perl, sed, awk, tcl/tk, sh) for automation.
• Ability to map Siemens EDA solutions to customer design flows and to present technical value.

Responsibilities

• Drive business for Siemens using hands-on technical expertise with customers during product evaluations.
• Deploy Siemens Emulation (Veloce Strato) solutions for customers.
• Provide technical presentations and feedback to product teams to improve features.
• Collaborate with sales, accounts, and customers to understand opportunities and requirements.
• Travel up to 10% across North America as needed to drive engagements.
