Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an early-career verification engineer to contribute to pre-silicon validation for high-performance networking switches. You will work on chip architecture studies, verify designs in emulation, and develop test streams using Tcl, Python, and C/C++.

This role collaborates with Architecture, DV, and Software teams. You will gain exposure to Zebu/Palladium emulation platforms and learn to build reusable verification components while supporting global users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years in pre-silicon verification, emulation, or ASIC/simulation work.
• Foundational knowledge in Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++, Tcl, Python, and automation scripting.
• Willingness to learn emulation platforms (Zebu, Palladium) and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet).
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in studies of chip architecture and micro-architecture to define and execute pre-silicon test plans.
• Verify design, architecture, and micro-architecture using emulation platforms.
• Develop tests using Tcl, ITcl, Python, and C/C++ for network switch ICs in emulation.
• Contribute to building/synthesizing Verilog/SystemVerilog models for emulation.
