Job summary

SGMC Health seeks an EMT for Specialty Care Transport. This Full Time, Evening shift role (12p-10p) is based at EMS Station One and involves responding to calls, assessing patients, providing treatment, and transporting under department guidelines.

Required Georgia EMT license, BLS, valid driver's license, and participation in required trainings including Haz-Mat Awareness and NIMS within 90 days. A chance to contribute to community care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an EMT by theGeorgia Department of Public Health.
• EMT and BLS certifications required; valid driver's license.
• Must complete Haz-Mat Awareness and NIMS IC training within 90 days.
• Ability to perform clinical skills in adult, pediatric and infant patients.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls for service and provides assessment and treatment during transport.
• Administers emergency care and ALS according to department guidelines.
• Maintains certifications and participates in required trainings.
• Operates medical and office equipment safely during patient transfers.
