Job summary

The role requires EMT certification, a high school diploma or GED, and readiness to operate emergency vehicles in accordance with state law. Must maintain all certifications and adhere to NGHS safety standards.

Qualifications

• State EMT certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Level I—no experience necessary.
• Pay commensurate with experience, but not required.
• As approved by Georgia Department of Public Health for emergency vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pre-hospital emergency medicine.
• Ensure a clean, fueled, and stocked emergency vehicle.
• Account for and maintain ambulance equipment.
• Complete NGHS mandatory education.
• Use radio communications professionally and according to protocol.
• Dress in appropriate uniform attire and document rapidly and accurately.
