Job summary

Meadow Ridge, a Benchmark Senior Living community in Redding, CT, seeks a certified EMT to join a dedicated EMT/Security team. You will patrol facilities, conduct safety inspections, and respond rapidly to medical emergencies to protect residents, staff, and visitors.

CT EMT Certification is required; full-time shifts are 6:30am–2:30pm (Mon–Fri) with per diem options. The role reports to the Security Manager and offers benefits and a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• CT EMT Certification is a requirement for consideration.
• Capable of patrolling and enforcing safety procedures across community properties.

Responsibilities

• Patrols community property to prevent and discover activity violating safety codes.
• Provides Emergency Medical rapid response care.
• Watches for hazards and reports unsecured doors or leaks.
• Investigates incidents and safety hazards with proper reporting.
• Secures and unlocks areas per policy and community expectations.

We are looking for a certified EMT to join our team, in a unique EMT /Security role. In this role you will be responsible for promoting a safe environment for residents, families, and staff by patrolling community buildings. Conducting safety and security inspections of all community properties to include common areas, parking lots, and perimeter. This role reports to the Security Manager.

CT EMT Certification is a requirement for consideration

Currently seeking candidates with availability to fill the following open positions:

Full-time (5 day) 6:30am - 2:30pm Monday -Friday

Per Diem opportunities also available

Hourly Wage Range: $20-$21.25 3rd shift differential $1.00 /hr.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patrols community property to prevent and discover activity in violation of criminal, fire, or safety codes.
• Provides Emergency Medical rapid response care
• Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes and security doors left unsecured.
• Investigates and reports all acts of unlawful or safety hazards that would endanger persons or property.
• Investigates all incidents and suspicious occurrences, filing incident report appropriately.
• Secures and unlocks areas and buildings in accordance with policy and community expectation.
• Other duties as assigned.
