Job summary

Northwest Ambulance is seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide pre-hospital care in Washington state. You will respond to calls, assist with transport, and support patient safety with professionalism and empathy.

Required: WA EMT certification (or NREMT with WA reciprocity), valid driver’s license, CPR/BLS, high school diploma, ability to pass background check and drug screen. Shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State EMT certification (or NREMT with WA reciprocity eligibility).
• Valid Driver's License - must have maintained for 2 years or longer.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Policy & Protocol Compliance – follow policies, procedures, and County Medical Protocols.
• Timely Task & Documentation Completion – complete duties and paperwork promptly.
• Punctuality & Attentiveness – report to shifts on time and stay engaged during calls.
• Accurate Documentation – ensure accuracy of patient and operational records.
