Job summary

Northwest Ambulance is seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team in Washington. You will deliver pre-hospital and interfacility care, transport patients safely, and represent our organization with professionalism and heart.

Expect a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with employer matching up to 5%, and paid time off. Wages range from $26.30 to $36.20 per hour; shifts vary in length and start times across the day.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State EMT certification or NREMT with WA reciprocity eligibility.
• Valid Driver's License - maintained for 2+ years.
• Clean driving record and eligibility; 18+ with up to 3 citations in 36 months (or 1 for under 21).
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital and interfacility care; transport patients safely.
• Follow policy, protocol, and County Medical Protocols.
• Complete documentation promptly and accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and operate ambulance safely per WA laws.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, leadership and crew on calls.
• Maintain professional appearance and well-stocked vehicle.
• Perform additional duties to support team and operations.
