Job summary

Northwest Ambulance is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide pre-hospital and interfacility care. You will transport patients safely and represent our organization with professionalism and heart.

Required: WA EMT or NREMT with WA reciprocity, valid license, CPR/BLS, high school diploma, ability to pass checks, and strong communication skills. Expect shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State EMT certification or NREMT with WA reciprocity.
• Valid driver's license with 2+ years of driving history.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work extended shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital and interfacility care.
• Transport patients safely and professionally.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and county medical protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient and operational records.
• Ensure ambulance readiness and compliance with state laws.
• Collaborate with dispatch, leadership, and crew members.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
