Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required by Allied Universal policy.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per law.
• A drug screen is part of the employment process.
• Driving positions require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation.
