Qualifications

• Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.
• Must meet credentials in the state of employment per regulations.
• 12 months experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Attends emergency medical requests and provides advanced paramedical assistance as needed.
• Performs initial assessment and first aid per protocol.
• Prepares patients for transport and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Provides direct patient care as required for each case.
• Mentors lower level techs and students as assigned.
• Follows departmental policies and safety standards.
• Inspects equipment for serviceability and safety.
