Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our patient care team in Largo, FL. You will perform routine medical procedures under supervision, support registration and referral management, and deliver quality one-on-one patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist clinicians, conduct DOT and non-DOT drug testing, prepare patients, and help with front office duties as needed. A valid EMT, CPR/First Aid certs, and state credentialing are required.

Qualifications

• EMT certification is required and credentials must meet state requirements.
• 1 year of job-related experience or more preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Must meet credentialing requirements for the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations and take vital signs.
• A ssist during examinations and treatment by providers.
• Determine illness/injury and apply first aid procedures as needed.
• Dispense medications as ordered and comply with state regulations.
