Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results.

You will report to the Center Manager and work under the Center Physician for medical issues. The role requires a state-licensed healthcare qualification (EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, or RN) with current CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate with state requirements.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• State licensure as EMT/LPN/RN as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and physical examination.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and liaise with Center Physician/Medical Affairs.
