Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group in Suffolk, VA, is seeking an EMT-I/EMT-A/EMT-P to join our Urgent Care team. You will assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures, perform phlebotomy, and deliver safe care across all ages while supporting clinical decision-making.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved EMT-I, EMT-A, or Paramedic program (military medical experience considered).
• Current Virginia or National Registry EMT-I, EMT-A, or EMT-P certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of field experience preferred, not required.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including EKGs, IV insertions, and phlebotomy.
• Deliver safe, age-appropriate care across the lifespan.
• Collect, document, and interpret patient data to support clinical decision-making.
• Maintain a safe, efficient patient care environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members to ensure excellent patient experiences.

Bayview Physicians Group is seeking a skilled EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I), EMT-Advanced (EMT-A), or Paramedic (EMT-P) to join our Urgent Care team. Working under the direction of our Urgent Care Physicians, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic clinical environment.
