Job summary

All American Ambulance and Transport is seeking a Regular Full-time EMT in Lothian, MD. The EMT will respond to non-emergency medical calls and inter-facility transfers, provide care en route, and perform BLS procedures in line with state and company policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle readiness, adhering to infection control standards, and collaborating with ALS personnel to ensure high-quality patient care and safety on every call.

Qualifications

• MIEMSS EMT registration (MD), NREMT national certification, CPR Basic Life Support (AHA/Red Cross).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and use good judgment.
• Demonstrates leadership as team leader in patient care situations.
• Professional interaction with patients, public safety personnel and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Responds to select medical non-emergencies and to hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes for inter-facility transfers.
• Provides non-emergency medical care en route to/from hospital in transport.
• Performs basic life support procedures per certification level.
• Ensures vehicle/equipment readiness; cleans, disinfects, restocks, and completes daily checklists.
