Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Public Service Commission license/EPins number from MIEMSS.
• CPR – Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• EVOC certification with appropriate experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and use sound judgment.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients, public, and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Operates emergency vehicle per company guidelines while transporting patients.
• Responds to select medical non-emergencies and inter-facility transfers.
• Performs basic life support procedures per certification level.
• Completes documentation and records for every assignment.
• Ensures vehicle and equipment are ready at start of shift and after each call.
• Maintains professional appearance and adheres to safety policies.
