Job summary

All American Ambulance and Transport in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Regular Full-time EMT to provide non-emergency medical care en route to facilities and to assist with inter-facility transfers. You will ensure vehicle readiness, follow MIEMSS protocols, and work under supervision with opportunities to lead in clinical situations.

The role requires MIEMSS EMT registration, NREMT, and CPR/BLS certification, plus strong judgment, teamwork, and patient-facing professionalism.

Qualifications

• MIEMSS EMT registration and NREMT certification are required.
• CPR–BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross is required.
• Demonstrates integrity and responsibility.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and with diverse teams.
• Ability to lead in patient care situations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and ensures knowledge, understanding and compliance of All American Ambulance and Transport policies and procedures.
• Ensures vehicle and equipment readiness at start of shift and after every call, including cleaning, restocking, and daily checklists.
• Responds to emergencies and non-emergencies following MD EMS regulations and company policy; always wears seat belt in company vehicle.
• Delivers high-quality medical care and transfers patients to appropriate facilities.
• Works with ALS personnel in a professional manner and maintains good relations with internal and external services.
• Acts as EMT preceptor when asked by management to train others.
• Accommodates third riders for orientation and training as needed.
• Performs other duties as directed by management.
