Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be currently registered as an EMT with MIEMSS and NREMT.
• Current CPR–BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• EVOC certification with relevant experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment.
• Professional interaction with patients, customers, and staff.
• Demonstrates high-quality patient care and teamwork.
• Ability to lead in patient care situations.

Responsibilities

• Follow EMS policies and ensure vehicle readiness at start of shift and after each call.
• Respond to emergencies and non-emergencies per policy and regulations.
• Provide EMS care per state MIEMSS guidelines and company policies.
• Coordinate with ALS personnel and other services to ensure proper handoff.
• Deliver patients to appropriate medical facilities and document care.
• Co-sign all patient care forms and complete billing information.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during operations.
• Act as EMT preceptor when requested by management.
• Accommodate third riders for orientation or education purposes.
