Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time BLS experience.
• One year of hospital facility experience.
• Current EMT certification (NJ/NY/PA or National Registry).

Responsibilities

• Maintains operational systems of the EMS Department.
• Renders emergency care based on signs, symptoms or complaints.
• Manages ambulance, supplies and equipment during shifts.
• Communicates with dispatch via two-way radio.
• Checks in-service vehicles and equipment; fixes discrepancies.
• Assists in patient transport with movement devices.
• Restocks and cleans ambulance; ensures AED battery is charged.
