Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with starting hourly rates at $17.00 plus DOE.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, delivering emergency care, documenting information, and maintaining a safe, professional environment. We value teamwork with public safety personnel and across Lifeguard Ambulance Service teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Driver’s License.
• National or State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and determine needed care to deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills to provide care including communications and equipment handling.
• Operate an ambulance following safety policies and traffic laws.
• Work collaboratively with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to support Lifeguard's image.
