Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for immediate full-time opportunities. EMTs will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, determining needed care, documenting information, maintaining confidentiality, operating an ambulance within safety policies, and collaborating with allied health and public safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State EMT license required.
• State driver’s license required.
• BLS and NREMT certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Must pass physical agility test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine necessary care, delivering emergency services.
• Document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Provide care using EMT skills, equipment, and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
