Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT Basic) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and deliver high-quality care and customer service. The role is full-time with hourly rates starting at $16.00 plus DOE.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, and providing care using EMT techniques and equipment. You will work with other EMTs and public safety personnel while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License.
• National or State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and deliver emergency medical care per guidelines.
• Document patient info and treatment, preserving confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment.
• Provide care using EMT skills and equipment.
• Operate ambulances in line with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety teams.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
