Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and deliver high-quality care and service. EMTs provide patient assessment, treatment, and documentation while upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National or State EMT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Must pass a physical agility test.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and determine needed care and emergencies.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills including communication, equipment use, cleaning procedures and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
