Job summary

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join their multidisciplinary transport team. In this role, you will provide and evaluate direct care to patients during transport, whether by ground or air ambulance.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be nationally registered as an EMT, and possess relevant emergency medical experience. State licensure is also required within specified timeframes based on location.

Qualifications

• National Registry EMT Certification (required).
• Must obtain state certification/licensure for assigned location within 14 days of start.
• 6 months of emergency vehicle operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in various health states.
• Assist with treatment and care of patients during transport.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary transport team.
