Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking an EMT to perform general patient care in an outpatient setting, following clinic workflows to deliver efficient, high-quality service. You will handle patient intake, vital signs, allergies, med verification, and specimen collection, while maintaining safety and instrument sterility.

The role includes emergency treatment and transport, accurate documentation in the care report system, and ensuring shift readiness of equipment and paperwork.

Qualifications

• EMT-B level certification required at hire.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• TN EMT license required at hire.
• Valid driver's license in Tennessee at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical treatment and transport per laws and department protocols.
• Document all patient care in Patient Care Report system using required format.
• Ensure paperwork is completed by end of shift.
• Maintain readiness of equipment and fully stocked ambulance per procedures.
• Report deficiencies or issues with supplies, equipment, or vehicle.
• Work as part of a team to support CommonSpirit Health EMS mission.
