Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with EMT experience as specified.
• CA EMT certification required upon hire.
• BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• CA driver's license required upon hire.
• Certified Ambulance Driver CA required upon hire.
• CDMC certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain policies, procedures, objectives and safety standards.
• Perform patient systems assessment and data collection continuously.
• Enter patient data into the computerized care reporting system without deficiencies.
• Provide direct patient care, administer medications and procedures per EMT cert.
• Collaborate with Paramedic on care planning and problem identification.
• Transport non-critical patients and deliver care per EMS standards.
