Job summary

GW MFA in Washington, DC seeks EMS personnel to provide Basic Life Support within the EMT scope, evaluate and transfer care for sick and injured, and respond to emergencies across venues and facilities. You will maintain certifications (NREMT, DC DOH EMT, CPR for Healthcare Providers), operate PPE, train others, and collaborate with EMS, police, and fire departments.

This role requires high school diploma, EMT and CPR certifications, at least 1 year EMT experience, and ability to lift up to 100

Qualifications

• Current EMT certification (nationally recognized)
• CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (required)
• Minimum 1 year EMT experience
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in field conditions

Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support within the EMT scope for emergencies
• Evaluate, treat, stabilize, and transfer care to patients
• Respond to medical emergencies and direct patient care on scene
• Maintain certifications (NREMT, DC DOH EMT, CPR) and PPE protocols
• Train and instruct less-experienced personnel
