Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks an EMT to deliver Basic Life Support for emergency and non-emergency requests. You will transport patients safely, document care, and collaborate with EMS, police, fire, and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient handling.

The role requires NJ EMT or NREMT certification, BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license, with training in EVOC/ITLS and HazMat elements as applicable.

Qualifications

BLS-certified EMT with a valid license.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Experience coordinating with EMS and hospital teams.

Responsibilities

Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) for emergency and non-emergency calls.
Transport patients safely and professionally.
Complete patient care reports after each call.
Coordinate with police, fire, and hospital staff.
Adhere to NJ regulations and HMH protocols.
