AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician/EMT for full-time day shifts. You will operate emergency vehicles, assess patients, and provide critical care en route to facilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly communicate patient conditions, status, and arrival times with medical facilities.
• Ability to analyze data, techniques, equipment operations, and quality control.
• Ability to determine life threatening conditions and respond accordingly.
• Provides appropriate emergency care and transports when necessary.
• Must read, write and speak English clearly.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule includes mid-shift 10 am–10:30 pm with Panama schedule variations.
• Communicates delays and updates to dispatch and reports vehicle issues to supervisor.
• Adheres to SOPs and ensures patient documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Communicates findings to nurses, paramedics, and personnel.
• Assists with setup of ventilator, cardiac monitor, IVs, and pumps.
• Maintains patient care records and provides full patient reports to receiving staff.
