Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a full‑time EMT in Wesley Chapel, FL to support emergency transportation and patient care. You will communicate patient conditions, operate basic medical equipment, document care, and cooperate with nurses and dispatchers to ensure smooth transports.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise communication of patient conditions
• Ability to analyze data and assist in decision making
• Ability to recognize life-threatening conditions and act
• Proficient in reading/writing English
• Basic computer skills and MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Communicates delays and updates to dispatch and reports any damage or vehicle issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Adheres to SOPs and ensures patient documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Communicates findings and patient conditions to nurses, paramedics, and personnel.
• Assists with setup and preparation of ventilator, cardiac monitor, IV lines, and pumps.
• Maintains patient care records and provides full patient reports to receiving staff.
