Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking a Paramedic to identify and stabilize patients during transport, provide direct medical care, and follow EMS protocols. You will operate emergency vehicles, manage ventilators and devices, and document care in ePCR per state requirements.

Requires current BLS/ACLS/PALS, Paramedic license, CDL or DL, excellent English, and 1+ year EMS transport experience. Work a PRN night schedule in Florida.

Qualifications

• Ability to determine the nature of patient conditions and assess risks.
• Ability to identify life threatening conditions within the paramedic scope.
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport under EMS protocols.
• Provides direct medical care to patients during transport per EMS guidelines.
• Manages advanced airways and ventilators during transport.
• Operates emergency vehicles safely and communicates with dispatch.
