Job summary

AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL, is seeking a full-time EMT/paramedic to support emergency vehicle transport. You will communicate patient status to receiving facilities, perform initial assessments, and provide urgent care as part of a highly coordinated team.

The role requires EMT/BLS credentials, a valid DL or CDL, and willingness to work night shifts. Responsibilities include charting, data collection, and safely operating equipment during transports.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate patient conditions clearly to receiving facilities.
• Ability to analyze data, equipment operations and quality control.
• Ability to identify life-threatening conditions promptly.
• Provide appropriate emergency care and transport when needed.
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Full Time Nights, 12-hour shifts.
• Communicate delays and vehicle issues to dispatch and supervisor.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Relay patient findings to nurses and paramedics.
• Assist with ventilator, cardiac monitor, IV line setup.
• Document patient care and provide full patient reports.
