Northwest Ambulance Critical Care Transport is seeking an EMT Educator to own the EMT education pathway, from orientation to field practice and ongoing competency. You will partner with operations leadership and QA/QM to ensure consistent, high-quality training across the organization.

The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, developing trainers, and translating policy changes into practical training tools while maintaining accurate records and schedules.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State EMT certification in good standing.
• 2+ years EMS field experience preferred.
• Ability to teach adults and provide constructive feedback.

Responsabilités

• Lead EMT onboarding, including classroom and field training.
• Develop and maintain standardized evaluation tools for EMT trainees.
• Teach clinical skills: patient assessment, airway, BLS, patient movement, infection control.
• Turn data into training with QA/QM input to address trends.
• Provide coaching and remediation when performance gaps are identified.
• Translate new policies and equipment into practical training materials.
• Maintain annual education calendar and training records.
