As a leading provider of Critical Care, ALS, and BLS transportation services throughout Washington, Northwest Ambulance knows that our people are the foundation of exceptional patient care. That's why we're committed to investing in the development of our crews and the educators who train them. • Teach and validate clinical skills. Run hands-on skills stations and realistic scenarios covering patient assessment, airway, BLS resuscitation, patient movement, infection prevention, and ambulance equipment.
  • Turn data into training. Partner with QA/QM to spot recurring clinical, documentation, or safety trends and build focused education around them.
  • Coach and remediate. Provide non-punitive, Just Culture-based coaching and build remediation plans when performance gaps are identified.
  • Roll out change. Translate new policies, protocols, and equipment into practical training, job aids, and competency sheets that field crews can actually use.
  • Keep education on track. Maintain an annual education calendar, track completions and trends, and keep training records accurate.
  • Current Washington State EMT certification in good standing
  • 2+ years of recent EMS field experience preferred (strong EMTs with demonstrated teaching ability will be considered)
  • Demonstrated competence in BLS patient care, ambulance operations, documentation, and safety
