Job summary

Jan-Care Ambulance, Inc. is seeking an EMT to provide safe and compassionate ambulance transport and basic medical care. You will work in WV with opportunities to participate in community EMS programs and ongoing training.

The role requires an 18+ age minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of required evaluations, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history. Expect a fast-paced, team-based environment with patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of EMS operations and ambulance equipment.
• Ability to learn through EMS training and state guidelines.
• Ability to read, write and document patient information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation sessions for EMS operations and certifications.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per state protocols.
• Respond to emergency calls and assist other EMS personnel as needed.
• Maintain EMS certifications and perform required training.
