Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a qualified professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and supervise immunizations per state SOPs. The role includes limited emergency care as certified, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines.

You will gain detailed experience in donor management and QA backup support. Training will cover Donor Center operations, immunization administration, and collaboration with Licensed Physicians to address abnormal results and

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program (Physician, Nurse, EMT) and current CPR certification.
• Must work within the scope of the professional license/certification as defined by the state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments and informed consent discussions in line with SOPs, FDA, CLIA and cGMP.
• Review, document and verify donor information, immunization records and test results in NexLynk donor management system.
• Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as allowed by training and licensure.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results, donor eligibility concerns and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality and refer donors to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup; mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an efficient, donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
