Trans-Care Ambulance seeks an EMT-Basic to join our EMS team in Indiana. You will provide emergency medical care and transportation under the Indiana EMS scope of practice and support paramedics as needed.

You will work within a patient‑focused, teamwork‑driven environment that emphasizes safety, professionalism, and compassionate service to our community. The position is entry‑level, requiring Indiana EMT‑Basic certification, CPR, and a valid Indiana driver’s license, with state background

Qualifications

• Valid IN State Driver’s License.
• State of Indiana EMT-Basic Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Pass State of Indiana Criminal Background Check.
• Pass Indiana BMV Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsabilités

• The EMT will satisfactorily perform all skills and procedures as designed by the Indiana EMS Commission curriculum.
• While on duty, the EMT will practice skills and duties within the Indiana scope of practice and the Standard of Care, per physician orders or higher medical authority.
• The EMT will respond to EMS calls as assigned by the communications center, following Trans-Care policies on time and duties.
• The EMT will follow Trans-Care policies and treat customers, patients, fellow employees and vendors with honesty and respect.
• The EMT will maintain patient confidentiality per Trans-Care privacy policies and HIPAA regulations.
