Job summary

Trans-Care Ambulance is seeking an EMT-Basic to join our emergency and transportation team in Indiana. You will provide emergency medical care and transport, supporting higher-certified staff and paramedics as needed.

Responsibilities include responding to EMS calls, maintaining patient confidentiality, operating the ambulance safely, and documenting accurately. Indiana licensure and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Valid IN State Driver’s License.
• State of Indiana EMT-Basic Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Pass State of Indiana Criminal Background Check.
• Pass Indiana BMV Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• The EMT will satisfactorily perform all skills and procedures as designed by the Indiana EMS Commission curriculum.
• The EMT will respond to EMS calls as assigned by the communications center observing Trans-Care policies and procedures.
• The EMT will maintain patient confidentiality per Trans-Care privacy policies.
• The EMT will operate the assigned vehicle and conduct according to Indiana laws and Trans-Care safety policies.
• The EMT will submit documentation that is complete, accurate and timely before leaving the shift.
• The EMT will maintain equipment operability and report needed repairs.
• The EMT will be courteous and professional to customers, patients and colleagues.
