Qualifications

• Must hold a valid EMT-Basic license from Texas.
• Experience with IV Pump, Ventilator, and Cardiac Monitoring is an advantage.
• Capable of coordinating closely with others in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency transport calls.
• Assess patient condition and determine treatment.
• Provide life support and first-aid to patients.
• Document medical care effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of crew quarters and ambulance.

Skills

Ability to sit, bend and stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Effective communication in English

Experience with MICU level transports

Education

Valid State of Texas EMT-Basic license

2 years experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred
